Booking & Availability
How do I book a vehicle?+
Each vehicle is booked directly through its Turo listing. Click “View on Turo” on any vehicle card or detail page to see live availability, pricing, pickup options, mileage details, protection options, and booking requirements.
How do I check if a vehicle is available?+
Availability is shown live on Turo. Once you choose a vehicle on our website, select “View on Turo” to confirm dates, pricing, and pickup or delivery options.
Do you offer airport delivery?+
Airport or delivery options may be available depending on the vehicle, schedule, and location. Check the vehicle’s Turo listing for available pickup and delivery options.
What do I need to rent a vehicle?+
Rental eligibility, driver verification, payment requirements, and protection options are handled through Turo. Guests should review the specific vehicle listing and Turo’s requirements before booking.
Vehicle & Rental Options
How many miles are included?+
Mileage allowances can vary by vehicle and trip. Each Turo listing shows the included mileage and any additional-mile details before booking.
What fuel level should I return the vehicle with?+
Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level provided at pickup unless other instructions are listed in the trip details.
Are pets allowed?+
Pets may be allowed only with prior approval and when permitted by the listing rules. Additional cleaning fees may apply if extra cleaning is needed after the trip.
Can someone else drive the vehicle?+
Only approved drivers listed through the trip process are allowed to drive the vehicle. Unapproved drivers are not permitted.
Rules & Trip Issues
Can I smoke in the vehicle?+
No. Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any Alta vehicle. Cleaning or odor-removal fees may apply.
What happens if I return the vehicle late?+
Late returns should be handled through Turo and may result in additional charges. Guests should update or extend trips through Turo whenever possible.
What happens if the vehicle gets damaged?+
Any damage, accident, warning light, or mechanical issue should be reported immediately through the appropriate Turo trip process and to Alta so the situation can be documented and handled quickly.
Who do I contact during my trip?+
Guests should use the communication method provided through the trip or listing. Alta aims to respond quickly before, during, and after each trip.
